Ooh, pick me! I was pointed toward your journal by [livejournal.com profile] oceaneyed8, who uses your Ned/Chuck mood theme (and said you made another PD one, which I can has plz?).

Things we have in common:
-A liking for some of the TV shows you mentioned;
-Missing all things horse-related, although I was more of a Western-saddle, trail-riding, roughin'-it type of equestrian;
-I'm a former vegan! It was good while it lasted;
-A liking for coffee (you have my sincere condolences) and for swearing;
-Liberalism (US) and agnosticism.

And I like to think I'm not an asshat. But I do love the word asshat and use it often.

Am v. excited about your music posts, if you'll be kind enough to friend me back!

Hi! *waves* That's the only moodtheme i've made, so far. And it sort of broke my brain a little, though i might do another one after christmas - depends how desperate i am for distractions ;)

although I was more of a Western-saddle, trail-riding, roughin'-it type of equestrian
Oh yay! I don't think i've got any other horseriders/ex horseriders on my list! :D I was a bit of everything. I used to be a bush-basher (though i always preferred a good AP saddle - i never found the western ones comfortable, my ass prefers the squishy seats ;), but then when i moved to a stable in the city i got into dressage, etc. Still, i miss all of it. I'm actually considering getting back into it in 2008, though i would only be able to do it once a fortnight, or something (because it's so ridiculously expensive nowadays) and i don't know if that would be enough. *ponders*

I'm a former vegan!
Aww, what made you give it up? I'm at the stage now where i don't think i could go back.

Coffee + swearing ftw. I actually meant to change that, cause i started drinking coffee again, but i never got around to it and now i've quit again! *lolz*

Well, you seem very un-asshat-ish. *nods*

I haven't actually done one in a while, but i've been listening to a lot of new/weird stuff at the moment, and i was considering doing a post-christmas mix in a few days, i'll have to remember to dedicate it to you ;)

Adding you now! ♥

(edited, because i've lost the ability to spell. *woe*)

Ah yes, my friend later corrected herself; the non Ned/Chuck moodtheme was made by somebody else.

And she recently introduced me to the expression "ftw" ... looks like I've found where she learned it! :DDD

Ugh. If I had a car I'd get my ass to the stables on the outskirts of my city, but in the end I don't want to be a car owner. :( Am too poor to pay to ride, anyway.

I was vegan for about nine months when I was 16--actually, started right before my 16th birthday and my mother was sad she couldn't bake me a cake with eggs and butter and all, hee! And then was vegetarian for maybe another year after that, but I gave it up eventually b/c I'd lost the animal-rights fervor that had got me started. I do still care, but I lost the original passion, and, well ... I am a cheese addict. It was cheese that knocked me off the vegan wagon. But interestingly enough, up until the very end, I didn't find the diet restrictions too difficult.

i'll have to remember to dedicate it to you
Oh, you are such a doll.

I'm considering making a completely random fandom mood theme, just for my own amusement. Maybe i'll just make icons instead. Hmm. There was a really good general PD mood a while ago, can't remember where though.

Hahaha. Ftw had me confused for SO long. Also, ftf (for-the-fail), though it's not as widely used ;)

Which city do you live in, if you don't mind my asking? There are a few within the city here, and a few on the outskirts, but nothing really within decent driving distance (at least nothing that's affordable on any kind of regular basis). I don't know what i'd do without my little car. *hugs it*

Hee. My mother was/is oddly supportive, but she worries that it's too restrictive and i just won't eat anything at all. But she's totally gotten into the vegan baking and whatnot, which is so incredibly cool - she makes almost all my food :)

I think my lack of meat/cheese love is why it isn't that hard a change for me. I'm not a big fan of food, in general, and i prefer raw/fresh food than junk, so there isn't much that i miss. Mostly it's the non-food stuff that's a struggle for me - i have really long really high maintenance hair, so buying decent products that are vegan is PRICEY and a bit of a nightmare. Still, i started last New Years, so it's been almost a year (and i've only slipped off the wagon one or two times, with random things like cheese and potato chips ;) And i still drink diet coke, but that's a big of a vegan grey-area, so until there's something definite it's staying on the menu. *lol*

I'm going to do it today. *determined* Otherwise it won't get done. Lol.

Ah, I can't reveal my location in a public post, but I shall tell you that I live in the Southeast US and there aren't any real cities around here except Atlanta. Which is not where I live. So there's just not much public transportation that would make my life easier. Southerners SUCK at doing anything modern and progressive. I stick to downtown mostly, where I can walk. Yay walking!
